In this chapter, we discuss one of the standard procedures for penoscrotal transposition correction - The Glen Anderson technique. Penoscrotal transposition (PST) is a rare anomaly of the external genitalia characterized by malposition of the penis in relation to the scrotum. This transposition may be partial or complete and may be associated with hypospadias and chordee, as well as other anomalies. The Glenn–Anderson technique for reconstruction of penoscrotal transposition and bifid scrotum is a simple technique, free of major complications. The purpose of this intervention is to improve the cosmetic appearance and function of the penis. Various surgical methods are described for the correction of incomplete PST. A 3-year-old male child born to a non-consanguineously married couple was brought to the paediatric surgery outpatient department. The child presented with incomplete penoscrotal transposition with severe chordee. PST associated with proximal hypospadias makes total repair even more complicated because the blood supply to the neourethra may be severed during scrotoplasty. Thus, the risk of jeopardizing the vascularity of the neourethra during the correction of PST is decreased with a two-stage repair. The Glenn Anderson repair is a straightforward yet excellent two-stage procedure that restores the blood supply to the neourethra while producing great cosmetic outcomes.
