Bioefficacy of 10 insecticides screened as per label recommendation against the immatures and the adults of D. pallida, a key pest of betelvine in Tripura, showed dichlorvos (350 ga.i./ha) as the best treatment with effective residual life of 3 days. Two percent leaf extract of A. indica gave significant repellent action against adults up to three days.
